Help us reimagine payments!As an Account Executive focused on Mid Market Sales, you will play a crucial role in fueling PayNearMe’s growth by securing new business specializing in the auto and personal lending verticals. You'll be responsible for the full sales cycle, from prospecting to closing, leveraging your knowledge of payment solutions to meet and exceed sales targets.Job DescriptionDevelop and execute targeted sales strategies to engage mid-market prospects within the auto and personal lending industry, showcasing the value of PayNearMe's payment solutions.Build and nurture strong relationships with key decision-makers and stakeholders at lending institutions, understanding their unique needs and providing tailored payment solutions.Work in a highly transactional sales team conducting weekly discovery calls with prospects and signing 5 to 6 agreements per quarterLead the end-to-end sales process, including prospecting, needs analysis, solution presentation, negotiation, and contract closure, while collaborating with internal teams for seamless implementation.Stay abreast of industry trends, regulations, and competitor activities within auto and personal lending, providing insights to inform product development and strategic positioning.Challenge prospects existing business processes and educate on new technologies to address legacy business painsProvide regular sales forecasts, reports, and updates utilizing CRM & Sales tools to track and manage sales activities.Qualifications3 years of relevant experience in Mid Market sales, specifically focused on payments, with a preference for those with experience in the lending sector.In-depth understanding of lending processes, payments, and regulatory landscape within the auto and personal lending sector.Experience with Challenger Sales Methodology, a plus..Strong analytical and strategic thinking, using data-driven insights to shape sales strategies and drive revenue growth.Self-motivated and results-oriented, with the ability to excel in a fast-paced and evolving environment.Proficiency in CRM tools and sales software to manage pipeline, forecasting, and reporting.Ability to travel as needed to engage with clients and attend industry events.Additional InformationLocation: Flexible/Remote (within the US)Salary Range: $75,000 - 125,000 (base salary)Variable: $100,000Great compensation package plus extensive benefits, including:100% Remote (must be in US)Base salary per year (paid semi-monthly)Fast- paced and professional work cultureStock options with standard startup vesting - 1 year cliff; 4 years total$50 monthly communication expense stipend to go towards your phone/internet bill$250 stipend to enhance your WFH setupReimbursement for peripheral equipment: monitor (up to $400), keyboard and mouse (up to $200)Premium medical benefits including vision and dental (100% coverage for employees)Company-sponsored life and disability insurancePaid parental bonding leavePaid sick leave, jury duty, bereavement401k planFlexible Time Off (our team members typically take off ~3-4 weeks per year)Volunteer Time Off13 scheduled holidays2x / year in-person team meet-ups (2-3 days, company paid)PayNearMe strives to create a workplace where all employees thrive.
