We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Civil Engineer - Project Manager specializing in residential development and commercial/industrial site development, to lead our design team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in managing residential projects, a strong technical background in civil engineering, and a license in the state of Kansas.

Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage residential development and commercial/industrial site development projects from conception to completion.
• Coordinate with clients, architects, contractors, and regulatory agencies to ensure project success and compliance with regulations and standards.
• Develop project plans, budgets, and schedules, and monitor progress throughout the project lifecycle.
• Prepare and review engineering designs, plans, and specifications for residential infrastructure, including grading, utilities, roads, and drainage systems.
• Conduct site visits and inspections to assess project feasibility, identify potential issues, and ensure quality control.
• Manage project resources, including personnel, equipment, and materials, to achieve project objectives within budget and timeframe.
• Communicate effectively with stakeholders and provide regular updates on project status and milestones.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering
• Professional Engineer (PE) license in the state of Kansas.
• Minimum of 8 years of experience in residential development and commercial/industrial site development, including project management.
• Strong technical knowledge of civil engineering principles and practices.
• Proficiency in project management software and tools.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to multitask, prioritize, and work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
• Detail-oriented with a focus on quality and accuracy.
• Valid driver's license.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with sustainable design, post construction BMP design and green building practices.
• Knowledge of AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and other design software.
• Familiarity with local zoning codes, land development regulations, and permit processes.
