Duties of this position vary from hand fabrication of several different kinds of Natural Stone, Engineered Stone, Solid Surface Material and Laminate to CNC Operation/Maintenance and material handling.Pay starting at $15.00 per hour plus a $2.00 per hour shift differential for working 2nd shift (12:30pm-8:30pm)On the job trainingPaid WeeklyRare weekendsHoliday payPaid leave timeFitness programMedical, Dental and Vision BenefitsAdvancement opportunityJob DescriptionRoles and Responsibilities:Fabricate Natural Stone, Solid surface, Quartz, Dekton and LaminateAdd and subtract accuratelyMeasure and cut within 1/32 toleranceWork to proper safety standardsUse hand tools, Grinders, Saws Routers, SandersAttach and install top mount and undermount sinksDrill holes for fixtures as neededLoad/unload slabs of stone and finished countertops with proper safety equipmentOperate overhead crane, manzelli crane, forkliftPhysical Requirements:Ability to handle heavy materials – lifting, carrying, pulling, and pushing 100 poundsMust be able to stand for 8 hours a dayQualificationsHigh School Diploma or equivalentGreat attention to detail requiredPrior experience in fabricating countertops or experience using similar tools, measuring, and cutting accurately preferredMust be a team player with the ability to focus on client fulfillmentSelf-directed worker capable of staying on tasks with minimal supervisionAbility to work in a fast-paced environmentGood communication skillsAdditional InformationIf an offer of employment is extended, it will be conditional upon successful clearance of a background check and drug screen for illegal substances.
