Paws ‘n’ Rec is a membership-based Doggy Daycare and Overnight Boarding provider. This position requires someone who has extreme attention to detail, isn’t afraid to get their hands dirty, and will take pride in maintaining a clean, safe, loving and fun environment for our Adventurers.

RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:

• Ensure the safety and well-being off all Adventurers in the facility at all times
• Clean and sanitize the inside and outside of the facility in accordance to protocols, including but not limited to: deep cleaning yards, dish washing, sanitizing counters and all applicable work areas, removing pet waste, laundry, etc.
• Ensure all Adventurers have comfortable bedding, fresh water, and are safely secured in their suites
• Perform routine visual checks on Adventurers and suites
• Complete all required data entry into the PNR proprietary process optimization platform
• Recognize and initiate communication for any Adventurer needing immediate medical care following established emergency protocols and instructions given
• Professionally interact with clients during picking up/dropping off for daycare and boarding

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Have strong and effective communication skills with both staff and clients
• Have prior experience or familiarity with dogs
• Able to lift dogs 50 lbs
• Able to bend, kneel and stand for long periods of time
• Hold a valid US driver's license with a good driving record
• Able to work a varied schedule including days, evenings, weekends and holidays
• Computer literate (Word, Excel, email, etc.)
• Detailed-oriented, quick-thinking, and possess a great deal of common sense
• Must be comfortable with general touch and affection with the animals
