POSITION OVERVIEW

Conduct sales and service activities, develop strong customer relationships, identify, and develop new customers accounts in the Greater Louisville Metro area. Manages and coordinates multiple projects / assignments simultaneously and completes tasks accurately and timely. Responsible for performing routine building maintenance tasks. Performance of building maintenance tasks in one or more fields (e.g. carpentry; electrical; HVAC; plumbing.)

Responsibilities:

  • Inspects buildings and other structures to determine functional systems, detect malfunctions and needed repairs, making notes and recommendations.
  • Ensure quality standards are delivered on a consistent basis.
  • Conveys information to internal and external stakeholders in a clear, concise manner.
  • Performs minor electrical maintenance to include but not limited to replacement or repair of fixtures (e.g. wall switches and outlets, incandescent and fluorescent bulbs and tubes, ballast, sockets, fuses, minor appliances, cords etc.) using appropriate hand, power and specialty tools.
  • Performs minor plumbing maintenance (e.g. replacement or repair of leaks in drains and faucets, unclogging of drains, etc.).
  • Performs minor painting, carpentry, and masonry work (e.g. preparing surfaces and using brush, sprayer or roller to apply paints, stains and varnishes, hanging doors, fitting locks and handles, etc.).
  • Help maintain an organized and tidy facility.
  • Order parts and maintain required documents.
  • Coordinate and monitor subcontractors, as well as work with our existing property maintenance agreements.
  • Performs other work-related duties as assigned.
  • Must be able to multitask.
  • Must be able to work flexible hours.
  • Adhere to all company safety policies and procedures.

IDEAL CANDIDATES’ QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:

  • Relationship management & networking: Ability to make connections, build and maintain relationships easily.
  • 3 – 5 years Commercial Building Maintenance Experience
  • Basic understanding of electrical, HVAC, plumbing and carpentry
  • Basic computer knowledge.
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Valid Driver’s License
  • Attention to detail and customer focused.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • General understanding and experience with power tools.
  • Excellent interpersonal, organizational, and troubleshooting abilities.
  • Ability to lift heavy materials.
  • Previous management experience preferred.
