Description
Burlington, Vermont based Paul Frank Collins seeks an attorney to fill an integral role in a busy and wide-ranging litigation practice. The ideal candidate has excellent academic credentials and two to four years of litigation experience including some courtroom and deposition experience. Exemplary applicants with more or less experience will be considered, including applicants completing judicial clerkships and recent law school graduates with strong references.

Requirements
The candidate must have a strong and demonstrated ability to complete research assignments when working under deadlines and to express legal concepts clearly. The candidate should also enjoy interacting verbally and in writing with clients, client representatives, and opposing counsel. The candidate should be ready to manage pleadings, motions, discovery, and other aspects of litigation as part of a team. The candidate must be admitted or eligible for admission to the Vermont Bar and open to becoming licensed in the states of Maine, Massachusetts, New Hampshire, or New York.
Excellent references, academic credentials, analytical abilities, and verbal and written communication skills are required. While candidates should have an interest and commitment to living and working in the wonderful state of Vermont, some amount of hybrid/remote work is a possibility. Litigation practitioners must travel and appear in person in courts where we have cases pending.
