Director of Therapy
Status: Full Time, Exempt
Salary: Commensurate with experience and current state salary schedules
Job Summary:
The Director of Therapy is instrumental in advancing the mission of Pattison's Academy in Charleston, SC. Reporting to the Chief Programming Officer, this individual not only fosters a culture of interdisciplinary collaboration within the organization but also acts as an ambassador in liaising with Board leadership. As an essential component of the leadership team, the Director of Therapy ensures that therapy services are seamlessly integrated into Pattison's Academy's overarching objectives and strategic plan. Additionally, this role drives the direction of our therapy services, ensuring every child receives the highest quality of care and support as part of Pattison’s Academy holistic and integrated system of care.
Qualifications:
- Must maintain an active license in physical, occupational, or speech therapy
- Minimum of five years experience practicing in chosen therapy profession
- Minimum of one year supervisory or leadership experience
Responsibilities:
The Director of Therapy’s duties, though not exhaustive, comprise the following:
- Oversee daily operations to ensure the success of therapy program implementation.
- Supervise and lead an interdisciplinary department comprised of OT, PT, and SLP professionals.
- Establish and execute procedures for monitoring and tracking the impact of service delivery, while also implementing metrics and a plan for continuous quality improvement.
- Act as a liaison to key stakeholders including Charleston County School District, external vendors, community partners, and Pattison’s families .
- Balance multiple workflows including both program management and strategic development.
- Oversee financial strategy of Pattison’s Academy Therapy Department including budget projections and revenue management.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory agencies’ requirements.
- Create, strategize, and implement advancement plans for continued growth and expansion of Pattison’s Academy Therapy Department.
- Serve as a driving member of Pattison’s interdisciplinary culture that models collaboration between all of Pattison’s programs.
- Serve as a member of the Senior Leadership Team and support Pattison’s organization-wide strategic plan.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
