Patterson Health Center is seeking a skilled and passionate Network Administrator to join our team. You will play a critical role in ensuring the reliability, security, and performance of our network, which is vital to the daily operations of providing patient care.
Responsibilities:
Evaluate and optimize network performance, including routers, switches, firewalls, and wireless access points.
Implement and enforce network security policies and procedures to protect sensitive data.
Proactively monitor network performance and troubleshoot any issues that arise.
Perform routine maintenance and upgrades to network hardware and software.
Document network configurations and procedures.
Collaborate with other IT staff and departments to ensure seamless network integration.
Requirements
1-3 years’ experience in a network administrator role, especially with Cisco networking equipment
Strong understanding of networking concepts, protocols, and technologies (TCP/IP, routing, switching, firewalls, etc.).
Experience with network monitoring and troubleshooting tools.
Familiarity with Windows Server administration and Active Directory.
Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Knowledge of healthcare IT regulations and compliance standards (HIPAA).
