Responsibilities

Job Purpose

To be an individual contributor to the Project Management Office (PMO) Team. The main objective of all PMO Analysts is to provide data-driven Project Management Support to company-wide initiatives. PMO Project Analysts keep a project organized and on track – and can provide analytical insights and structured mitigation plans to aid the progress of individual projects to which they are assigned. Construction project process knowledge and/or experience required.

Duties and Key Accountabilities

  • Provide project management support for key company initiatives across Pattern within the PMO portfolio.
  • Be highly organized, proactive in problem solving, and a strategic & diplomatic team member.
  • Can organize and facilitate large cross-departmental team meetings to achieve progress. Can maintain meeting continuity, communicate effectively during the meeting, and hold staff accountable to complete identified action items after meetings have occurred.
  • Apply analytical concepts & techniques to lead the organization in creating & tracking unified key performance indicators (KPIs) – including unified reporting for a broad spectrum of internal audiences, from project managers up to executive management.
  • Gather, evaluate, and continue to maintain programmatic data to support complete & reliable project reporting. Design systems and database structures to support accessible project data & unified reporting.

Qualifications

Experience/Qualifications/Education Required

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Economics, Engineering, or related field.
  • 3 - 4 years of work experience in project or program management.

Additional Requirements

  • Experience in energy and/or construction projects
  • Familiarity with data analytics principles, statistics, working with large data sets, and data visualizations

Technical Skills

  • Basic knowledge of online project management tools like Microsoft Project, Trello, Jira
  • Basic knowledge of data visualization tools like Power BI or Tableau
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft products including Excel, PowerPoint, and SharePoint
