Responsibilities

Job Purpose

The mission statement of the Enterprise Applications team is to improve efficiency in the organization through system development, process improvement, and organizational alignment. The primary purpose of this position is to support the team’s mission through continuous improvement and alignment of our Energy Management System landscape with emerging business needs.

This role is the crucial link between system end users, the software itself, and the technical development teams that support it. To maximize the business objectives and demand, the role requires strong understanding of systems and a partnership with departments such as Energy Management, Risk Energy Management, Settlements, Revenue Accounting and other parts of the business to ensure optimal deployment and adoption of the system and business enhancements.

Qualifications

Experience/Qualifications/Education Required

Candidate must have:

• BS degree in related field required.
• At least 5 years of cross-departmental business experience, with demonstrated ability to engage and empathize with a wide variety of business owners.
• At least 5 years of experience working in a medium to large corporate environment
• Renewable and/or Power energy industry experience.
• Experience delivering change and business improvement in supporting systems for an operational support capacity
• Proficient in MS Office Applications (PowerPoint, Excel, Word)

• Ability to work with an extended global team approach and innovation. Ability to successfully operate in different cultures.
• Cross-business and cross-functional collaboration and team skills, including a willingness to contribute thought leadership and execute on others' ideas.
• Ability to energize self and others toward passionate and superb execution.
• Established proficiency in Allegro and/or an equivalent ETRM System, including:
  • Design and configuration within an ETRM
  • Working knowledge of API connections to/from ETRM’s
  • Working knowledge of technical design to support and enhance the ETRM
• Established proficiency in a variety of business applications beyond ETRM, including:
  • Proficiency in Excel formulas - preferred
  • Visio, or other process mapping software - preferred
  • ZEMA, and/or a market pricing system - preferred
  • OATI, and/or any bid to bill system for the Power Markets - preferred
• Demonstrated problem solving and communication abilities, including:
• Translating information and communications between business partners, technical and non-technical team members, both verbally and through visual aids such as PowerPoint and process diagrams.
• Experience in leading change initiatives through process- and metrics-based.
• Experience in delivering high-quality, on-time projects across multiple stakeholders, functions, and lines of business.
• Demonstrated success in managing and engaging on multiple, complex projects with competing needs and resource requirements.
• Change management experience associated with process and system enhancements.
• Improving organizational efficiencies by solving challenging and ambiguous problems with system and process solutions.

The expected starting hourly pay range for this role is $40.00 - $55.00 USD. This range is an estimate and base pay may be above or below the ranges based on several factors including but not limited to location, work experience, certifications, and education.
