Pathways of Arizona is Hiring a Medical Assistant Near Yuma, AZ
Our Medical Assistant plays a vital supportive role, managing our refill request line, taking vital signs, and discussing medication issues with prescribers and pharmacy staff. You will work as a member of our team, providing back up assistance as needed to front office staff. This position acts as a representative of Pathways within the medical community and our clients, providing timely and professional work in a courteous manner.
- Weekday schedule
- Office based position
What we’re looking for:
- Certified as a Medical Assistant or Certified Nursing Assistant and 1 or more years of work experience
- CPR/First Aid (Adult and Child)
- Must be eligible for fingerprint clearance approval without restrictions throughout employment
- Valid Arizona driver’s license (without restrictions) and current auto insurance
Preferred but not required:
- Bilingual (English/Spanish)
- EHR software experience
- Knowledge of psychiatric medications
