Job DescriptionThe Tax Manager will manage daily tax operations, including tax compliance and reporting. The Tax Manager will be responsible for overall compliance activities, recommending internal controls and process improvements, maintaining knowledge of changing tax laws and regulations, and other cross functional accounting responsibilities where appropriate. Our client is looking for a dynamic self-starter who has interests in expanding their skillset beyond tax and can become a leader in the broader finance and accounting function of the organization.Responsibilities: • Assume full responsibility for directing multiple engagements • Provide clients with Tax Compliance, Research, Consulting for corporate, partnership and individual returns• Provide oversight and direction to team of tax specialists in the delivery of tax services. • Initiate and present effective tax planning strategies for a diverse range of middle market clients. • Research and report on trends and developments concerning complex domestic and international tax issues. • Build existing and new client relationships Qualifications• CPA • Advanced degree in taxation is preferred • Candidates should have five to seven years experience in individual, corporate and partnership taxation. • Public Accounting Experience • (2) years experience as a tax managerAdditional InformationEqual Employment OpportunityOur client is proud to be an equal opportunity/affirmative action employer.
