Pathway Design and Construction is a premier design-build firm in Seattle, specializing in high-end residential remodeling and new construction projects. We are seeking an experienced Construction Accounting Clerk to join our team. This currently is a Part-Time position that is remote work. Preferred that this candidate will live in or around the King County area to attend in-person meetings in Seattle, or nearby.

In this role, you'll leverage your background in accounting administration, mastery of QuickBooks or similar software, and familiarity with production management systems to ensure precise financial records. Your ability to effectively engage with internal and external customers, commitment to shared values, and adaptability to evolving technologies will contribute significantly to our internal financial processes.

In addition, you will:

• Utilize QuickBooks for accurate and timely recording of financial transactions.
• Demonstrate a deep understanding of construction accounting principles.
• Handle Accounts Receivable (AR) and Accounts Payable (AP) processes efficiently.
• Ensure compliance with business licensing requirements for both the company and subcontractors (MSA/W-9/COI).
• Utilize Job Tread to ensure the processing of invoicing to clients.
• Assist with Payroll processing to include benefits and 401(k) payments

Your Experience:

• You have previous experience excelling as a Construction Accounting Clerk where you built trust and a rapport with those around you.
• 5 years’ experience in an accounting function
• Previous experience utilizing Quickbooks or similar software is required.
• Previous experience with Job Tread, or similar production manager system is preferred but not required.
