We are working with a healthcare firm specializing in prosthetic and orthotic services. We are currently seeking experienced healthcare professionals for a Medical Receptionist role. This is an exciting opportunity to join a growing team and expand your career in healthcare!

We are seeking highly motivated individuals to join our team! In this role you will be responsible for verifying eligibility, pre-certifying devices, and advising patients of any non-covered services/out of pocket expenses.

Responsibilities:

• Answer all incoming calls
• Update all personal files
• Code and prepare work orders
• Secure necessary documentation to comply with policies outlined by payor(s)
• Verify benefits and pre-certify services
• Provide patients information courteously and explicitly
• Assure flow of service from initial contact to delivery of device

Requirements:

• Minimum 1-2 years experience in the Healthcare field
• Medicare/Medicaid experience is a plus
• Basic medical terminology CPT/ICD coding.
• Experience with orthotic and prosthetic devices is a plus!

Details:

• Full Time, Shifts available M-F between 8am-4:30pm
• Pay: $17.00 - $19.00 per hour
