As a Welder (also known as Fabricator, Metal Joiner), you'll join, fabricate, and repair metal and other weldable materials using appropriate welding techniques. You'll interpret blueprints, specifications, diagrams, or schematics to determine the appropriate welding process and inspect completed welds for structural soundness. You'll also prepare materials and set up for a welding device or robot, and support the safety and quality programs by following all rules and established processes.
