Overview: We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Medical Biller to join our team. As a Medical Biller, you will be responsible for accurately coding and billing medical procedures and services. Your role will contribute to the financial success of our organization by ensuring timely and accurate reimbursement for medical services provided. Responsibilities: - Review and analyze medical records to identify relevant diagnoses, procedures, and services - Assign appropriate medical codes using ICD-10 and CPT coding systems - Ensure accurate and complete documentation of all patient encounters - Submit claims to insurance companies electronically or by paper submission - Follow up on outstanding claims and denials to ensure timely payment - Communicate with insurance companies, patients, and healthcare providers regarding billing issues - Maintain patient confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA regulations - Stay updated on industry changes in medical coding and billing practices Requirements: - Proven experience as a Medical Biller or in a similar role - Proficient in medical coding systems such as ICD-10, ICD-9, CPT, DRG, etc. - Strong knowledge of medical terminology and procedures - Familiarity with medical billing software systems - Excellent attention to detail and accuracy - Strong organizational and time management skills - Effective communication skills, both written and verbal - Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment Note: All positions must be paid, including internship positions.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $16.00 - $19.00 per hour
