Position: Talent Acquisition Specialist - Healthcare

We are seeking a Talent Acquisition Specialist who is responsible for sourcing, attracting, interviewing, hiring and onboarding employees. This role requires a high level of expertise in recruitment processes, a strong network of talent and recruitment resources, and the ability to manage multiple job openings simultaneously. Experience in healthcare recruiting required, preferably in behavioral health. This is an in-person position located in Malibu, CA and remote work is not available. 

Duties may include but are not limited to:

  • Facilitate end-to-end recruitment process; including recruitment/sourcing, interview, selection, offers, and onboarding of new hires
  • Conduct initial screenings to assess candidates’ qualifications, skills, and cultural fit in the organization
  • Leverage a variety of sourcing methods including direct sourcing, social media, networking, employee referrals, job fairs, etc. to build a pipeline of high quality of candidates
  • Achieve staffing objectives by recruiting and evaluating job candidates; advising managers
  • Collaborate with hiring managers to understand staffing needs and prioritize recruitment efforts
  • Coordinate interview schedules, facilitate candidate communications, and provide timely updates throughout the recruitment process
  • Develop and/or enhance recruiting processes by identifying opportunities, proposing creative ideas and implementing solutions
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for candidates, providing them with information about the organization, job opportunities, and the recruitment process
  • Prepare regular reports and analytics to evaluate recruitment performance and identify opportunities for improvement
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date candidate records in the applicant tracking system (ATS)
  • Develop relationships with educational institutions, professional associations, and other external partners to expand recruitment networks
  • Support the HR department with special assignments and projects

Qualification Guidelines:

Education/ Experience:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, Business, or related field, or equivalent experience
  • 2 or more years recruiting experience required, in the healthcare or behavioral health industry preferred
  • Experience in full-cycle recruiting, using various interview techniques and evaluation methods

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
  • Able to relate and communicate positively, effectively, and professionally with others by telephone, email, and personal interaction
  • Able to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
  • Proficiency in applicant tracking systems (ATS), HRIS, and other recruitment software tools
  • Knowledge of chemical dependency and psychological disorders
  • Knowledge of facility systems and organization as they pertain to Human Resources and Recruiting
  • Intermediate knowledge of Word, Excel, and Outlook
  • Able to read, write legibly, speak in English with professional quality
  • Able to address and prioritize multiple task demands within established time frames
  • Must be flexible in work hours in order to meet facility needs

Other Requirements:

  • Travel between company locations in Los Angeles and Ventura counties is required as company needs dictates
  • Must satisfy post offer, pre-employment conditions such as tuberculosis screening (annually thereafter), background check (including criminal and driving record check), drug screening, reference check. Ongoing monitoring and screenings during employment in accordance with law and company policy.
