A Japanese manufacture company is looking for a Japanese bilingual Sales Representative or experienced Manager position.

Business Development

• Compiles lists of prospective customers for use as sales leads, based on information from business directories, industry ads, trade shows, Internet Web sites, and other sources.
• Travels throughout assigned territory to call on regular and prospective customers to solicit orders, answer questions, provide product demos, etc.
• Displays or demonstrates product, using actual product demonstration or sales literature, and emphasizes salable features.
• Quote prices and credit terms and prepares sales contracts for orders obtained.
• Estimates date of delivery to customer, based on knowledge of production and delivery schedules.
• Prepares sales activity reports and keeps expense accounts.
• Attends trade shows to exhibit products.

Marketing

• Coordinates promotional activities including print, electronic media, trade show, direct mail, and etc.
• Manages development, production and distribution of promotional and collateral materials to support sales and marketing program.
• Coordinates the Company’s trade show participation in the area of trade show/booth site selection, product selection, set-up and teardown, booth maintenance and advertising/promotions.
• Assists management in forecasting current and future product sales trends and advising competitive pricing and market situations.

Customer Service

• Communicates with prospective and existing customers by phone, e-mail and receives orders for products.
• Processes customers’ orders and prepares necessary correspondence and documentation.
• Answers product inquiries from customers.
• Verifies payment/shipping methods, terms and conditions, billing and shipping addresses and contact information.
• Adjusts complaints concerning billing or products, referring complaints to designated departments for investigation.
• Builds and maintains customers’ relationships.

Other & Miscellaneous

• Makes efforts to gain product knowledge and familiarize with the product markets.
• Seeks constant improvement, more efficient and less expensive ways and means in work processes.
• Performs special projects and other miscellaneous duties as assigned by management.
• Maintains high ethical standards in the work place.
• Reports all irregular issues and problems to management for solution.
• Maintains good communication with supervisors, office staff members and outside contacts.
• Maintains good communication with Japan HQ and attend virtual meeting with Japan side.
• Complies with all company policies and procedures.
• Responsible for maintaining a clean and safe working area.
