Work Hours: 21-28h/week

Pay: $16-18/hour (DEO)

Work Location: Office

Position Objective:

This position is to support the sales to ensure a smooth sales process.

The work location will be a hybrid work option (both your home and office in Arlington Heights, IL.) If you prefer to work100% in the office, that should be fine as well.

Report to: Sales Manager

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Data entry and invoice posting in our accounting database (minor accounting experience preferable)
• Support and process claims. Make reports and file claims, and communicate with the supplier about the claims
• Data entry and process purchase invoices in the ERP system.
• Contact the trucking company to arrange the shipment.
• Create shipping labels
• Other data entries such as delivery dates, inventory volumes, and purchase prices into Microsoft Excel spreadsheets.
• Record amounts of items received or distributed via the ERP system.
• Truck and update inventories
• Work in a team environment, communicating as required with all personnel.
• Place purchase orders to our vendors and work with them to stay on schedule.
• Manage customer-specific inventories as needed.
• Other duties assigned by Sales Manager.

Knowledge and Skill Requirements:

• Technical proficiency in quickly adapting to our in-house accounting database software
• Ability to use Microsoft Office accurately and rapidly
• Detail-oriented skills
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail required
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office is a must
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel is a must
• Great communication skills
• Ability to communicate with vendors via phones and emails in a “non-negotiation” capacity.
• Ability to multitask
• Ability to teamwork
