Overview:
We are seeking a talented Hadoop Developer to join our team remotely. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Hadoop administration, performance tuning, cluster management, and experience with various Hadoop ecosystem tools such as Hive, Spark, HBase, Oozie, and Flume. Additionally, familiarity with best practices related to security and exposure to data migration projects, particularly from Hadoop to Azure, are highly desirable. Knowledge of Azure Synapse is considered a significant advantage.
- Develop, implement, and maintain Hadoop-based solutions using tools such as Hive, Spark, HBase, Oozie, and Flume.
- Administer and manage Hadoop clusters, including performance tuning and optimization.
- Implement and enforce best practices related to security within the Hadoop ecosystem.
- Participate in data migration projects, especially those involving migration from Hadoop to Azure.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement scalable and efficient data solutions.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to Hadoop infrastructure and applications.
- Stay updated with the latest developments in the Hadoop ecosystem and incorporate relevant technologies into existing solutions.
- Proficiency in Hive, Spark, HBase, Oozie, and Flume.
- Strong experience in Hadoop administration, performance tuning, and cluster management.
- Familiarity with best practices related to security within the Hadoop ecosystem.
- Proven experience in data migration projects, particularly from Hadoop to Azure.
- Knowledge of Azure Synapse is a significant advantage.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and collaboration abilities.
