JOB SUMMARY

The Junior Financial Analyst is responsible for providing support for the Finance & Accounting team and maintaining the integrity of the general ledger. This position is the main point of contact for the operational costs of the organization.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

• Manage the company’s credit card program which includes troubleshooting, mentoring card holders, setting up new cards and processing the monthly expense reports
• Review the weekly vendor payment runs for accuracy
• Act as a liaison between Finance, Purchasing, and other cross functional departments when it comes to purchase order creation
• Review purchases orders for accuracy
• Assist in month-end closing process
• Reviews selected Cost of Goods Sold accounts and provides management with recommendations
• Provides guidance, direction, and is subject matter expert on specific inventory projects.
• Reviews all departmental expenses for accuracy and provides management with insightful observations
• Assists in budget preparation
• Leads variance analysis discussions for selected accounts
• Manage cash controls, banking policies and procedures and ensure the highest level of security and accuracy is maintained.
• Assists with internal audit and annual external audit

JOB QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Accounting or Finance
• 0-2 years of experience in Finance or a manufacturing setting

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $23.00 per hour
