Job Description:

We are looking for a Service Technician to perform maintenance, repairs, and inspections on a wide range of equipment in our fleet. The Service Technician will play a crucial role in ensuring the safety, reliability, and performance of our equipment, supporting our customers' operations and minimizing downtime. The ideal candidate will have a strong mechanical aptitude, attention to detail, and a commitment to upholding quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform routine maintenance and repairs on equipment, including but not limited to, engines, hydraulic systems, electrical systems, and mechanical components.
• Conduct thorough inspections of equipment to identify issues, diagnose problems, and recommend appropriate solutions.
• Troubleshoot equipment malfunctions and implement corrective actions to restore functionality and performance.
• Complete service and repair tasks according to manufacturer specifications, company guidelines, and safety standards.
• Document maintenance and repair activities accurately, including parts used, labor hours, and diagnostic findings.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of service areas, tools, and equipment to ensure a safe and efficient work environment.
• Assist in maintaining inventory of parts, tools, and supplies necessary for equipment maintenance and repairs.
• Adhere to all safety regulations and procedures while performing service and repair tasks, prioritizing the safety of oneself and others.
• Collaborate with team members and supervisors to prioritize workload, share knowledge, and support overall departmental goals.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Technical certification or relevant vocational training in diesel mechanics, automotive technology, or a related field preferred.
• 1-2 years of experience in equipment maintenance, repair, or a similar mechanical role.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills, with the ability to diagnose and repair complex equipment issues.
• Knowledge of hydraulic systems, electrical systems, engines, and other mechanical components.
• Familiarity with equipment manufacturers' manuals, schematics, and diagnostic tools.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and as part of a team.
• Excellent attention to detail, organizational skills, and time management abilities.
• Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies, equipment, and procedures.
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
