We’ve got what you’re looking for. Job Description: Parsons is seeking Embedded Engineers with experience in C/C and Linux systems to join our team of exceptional individuals. Qualified engineers will be required to participate in an Agile Scrum development life cycle including design, peer review, test support, and documentation of software. Successful candidates must be flexible, self-motivated, hardworking, and capable of operating in a quick-reaction development environment to solve complex problems. Required Qualifications Must have a Bachelor of Science in engineering, scientific, technical discipline, or comparable work experience Must have at least 15 years total related experience with at least 10 in an embedded (C/C /assembly) role Must have active Top Secret security clearance with SCI eligibility and amenable for poly upgrade What Required Skills You'll Bring: Experience working in a Linux command line environment Linux inter-process communication and kernel module software development Multithreaded and real-time programming techniques Knowledge of Linux, VxWorks, or other embedded systems Experience analyzing performance issues and implementing efficiency improvements Knowledge of TCP/IP and socket programming Ability to communicate effectively with technical team members, managers, and customers What Desired Skills You'll Bring: Experience with virtualization technologies (VMWare, Xen, OpenStack, VirtualBox) Experience with development of client/server architectures in C/C /Assembly Experience with RVTM, FAT, Acceptance Testing, and other formal testing procedures Minimum Clearance Required to Start: Top Secret This position is part of our Federal Solutions team.
