Job Description: Parsons is seeking a Configuration Management Engineer with experience in maintaining system level baselines across hardware, software, and systems. Qualified candidates will be required to collaborate with engineers and stakeholders to develop, maintain, and package system level baselines for both internal and customer deliveries. Successful candidates must be flexible, self-motivated, hardworking, and capable of operating in a fast-paced environment. Required Qualifications Must have a Bachelor of Science in engineering, scientific, technical discipline, or comparable work experience Must have at least 10 years total related experience with at least 5 in a software, testing, DevOps, IT, or similar role Must have active Top Secret security clearance with SCI eligibility and amenable for poly upgrade What Required Skills You'll Bring: Experience working in a Linux command line environment Experience with Git or similar configuration management tool Experience with network configuration Experience working within an Agile/Scrum environment Experience validating and verifying application functionality against customer specified requirements Ability to communicate effectively with technical team members, managers, and customers What Desired Skills You'll Bring: Experience with virtualization technologies (VMWare, Xen, OpenStack, VirtualBox) Experience with automation and baselining of artifacts using a DevOps pipeline Experience with delivering and maintaining baselines across multiple networks and classifications levels Minimum Clearance Required to Start: Top Secret This position is part of our Federal Solutions team.
