Overview: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Director of Nursing to join our team. As the Director of Nursing, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of nursing care and ensuring the highest level of quality and patient safety. This is a key leadership role within our organization, and we are looking for a candidate who can effectively manage a team and provide strategic direction. Duties: - Provide leadership and guidance to nursing staff, ensuring the delivery of exceptional patient care - Develop and implement nursing policies, procedures, and protocols to ensure compliance with regulatory standards - Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to develop and implement patient care plans - Oversee the hiring, training, and evaluation of nursing staff - Monitor and evaluate the performance of nursing staff, providing feedback and coaching as necessary - Conduct regular audits and reviews of documentation to ensure accuracy and compliance with legal requirements - Manage budgets and resources to optimize efficiency and effectiveness of nursing services - Stay up-to-date with current trends and advancements in healthcare practices, incorporating them into nursing protocols as appropriate Requirements: - Doctorate degree in Nursing or related field preferred - Current licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN) in the state - Extensive experience in healthcare management, preferably in acute care or nursing home settings - Strong knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, and healthcare systems - Familiarity with Medicare regulations and documentation requirements - Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire a team - Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills We offer competitive compensation packages including benefits such as medical insurance, retirement plans, and paid time off.
