Parsec Technologies, Inc. is Hiring a RF Technician Near Plano, TX

OVERVIEW

Parsec Technologies, Inc. is a high performance, American antenna company designing and manufacturing next generation, best in class, industrial antennas for 5G, Public Safety, Enterprise and IoT. Parsec is now hiring an RF Lab Tech to work in our Plano facilities side by side with our RF engineers, design engineers, mechanical engineers, and production engineers. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  1. Will be producing high quality prototypes and reference products for product development and automated test setup.
  2. Perform basic RF test equipment test setup and troubleshooting as needed.
  3. Support the Engineers’ efforts to work with the team to help improve processes, equipment issues, etc. to constantly improve productivity.
  4. Support antenna chamber measurements.
  5. Support creation of antenna technical data sheets.
  6. Collect measured RF performance and format for presentation.
  7. Performs root-cause analysis to solve critical quality issues related to RF performance.
  8. Provides one-on-one training to associates.
  9. Able to effectively identify and report potential safety and quality hazards/risks.
  10. Coordinate with equipment/service vendors for test equipment maintenance.
  11. Proactively provide critical feedback and communication to help improve assembly process to increase quality and throughput.
  12. Maintain an organized and functional laboratory workspace, including preventative maintenance and calibration of equipment.
  13. Ability to troubleshoot and make basic repairs and calibrations to analytical and production equipment.
  14. Develop standard operating procedures and formalize appropriate documentation.
  15. Maintain all laboratory calibration records.
  16. Will be responsible for providing technical guidance and support to in-house fabrication and assembly teams by creating assembly work instructions manuals.

Requirement & Qualifications

  1. High school diploma or equivalent
  2. A minimum of 2 years of relevant experience if in possession of an associate degree or higher
  3. A minimum of 6 years of relevant experience if not in possession of a degree
  4. Basic knowledge of electrical and electronic systems, experience using Network Analyzers and digital Multimeter is a plus.
  5. Ability to perform repetitive work according to established procedures.
  6. Strong analytical, troubleshooting and debugging skills.
  7. Excellent attention to detail and meticulous data recording.
  8. Excellent time management skills to consistently maintain a high level of productivity.
  9. Must have excellent soldering skills and have experience working with basic hand tools.
  10. Must be knowledgeable with micrometers, calipers and other measuring instruments and gauges.
  11. Experience working with a computer in a Windows environment.
  12. Require proficiency in Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
  13. Knowledge of basic statistical concepts like average and standard deviation and how to use Excel to analyze data would be a plus.

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: $60,000.00 per year
