The Sales Manager is responsible for managing and executing the fuel, lubricant, DEF, and equipment budgetary and strategic planning of the Sales Department. This role is fully in office, splitting time between our Olive Branch, MS and Blytheville, AR locations. This role covers North Mississippi, East Arkansas, and West Tennessee regions. Responsibilities Include:Maintains effective Sales staff by participating in the recruiting, hiring, and training new members of the sales staff and assisting in ongoing technical training.Assists sales representatives in developing viable prospect lists and opportunity pipeline, creative marketing strategies, and sales proposals.Maintains existing business by offering technical expertise where necessary/beneficial, guiding sales staff in tactical daily routine, efficient scheduling and problem solving, as well as acting as a backup to inside sales representatives if absent.Conducts weekly meetings with department personnel to review budgetary numbers versus goals to date, pipeline configurations, prospects and weekly schedules.Assists in making annual departmental budgetary projections, including expenses and gallon and profit targets for individual Inside Sales Representatives and for the department as a whole.Reviews department
