Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled Dental Assistant to join our family operated team. As a Dental Assistant, you will play a crucial role in providing quality dental care to our patients. Your main responsibilities will include assisting the dentist during procedures, preparing patients for treatment, and ensuring a clean and sterile environment. Responsibilities
- Assist the dentist during dental procedures
- Prepare patients for treatment by sterilizing and arranging instruments and equipment
- Take and develop dental x-rays
- Provide chairside assistance to the dentist during procedures
- Educate patients on oral hygiene and post-operative care instructions
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation

Requirements
- Proven experience as a Dental Assistant
- Knowledge of dental terminology, anatomy, and dental procedures such as restorative, endodontics, implants.
- Proficiency in taking dental x-rays and operating dental imaging equipment
- Familiarity with infection control protocols and practices
- Experience with dental coding and documentation
- Strong communication skills and ability to effectively interact with patients of all ages, including children (pediatrics)

Pay: $18.00 - $22.00 per hour

Expected hours: 32 per week
