REPONSIBILITIES

• Schedule room volunteers for weekend services assuring that the City and Alley are staffed with enough volunteers to cover appropriate volunteer to child ratios
• Connect relationally with volunteer team on the weekend during services and throughout the week with phone calls, emails and periodic connecting events so that they are equipped, empowered, and cared for
• Plan events to train, connect and appreciate the City and Alley volunteers
• Identify and coach potential candidates through the leadership pathway
• Manage the City and Alley SG and LG recruitment pipeline, walking each new recruit through the volunteer assimilation process and training, assuring that no new recruit is left behind
• Uphold all Parkview Kids safety rules and children’s ministry values to ensure the spiritual, emotional, and physical safety of every participant and volunteer ensuring that the team is appropriately prepared for emergency evacuations and situations
• Ensure that the City and Alley environments are safe, clean, welcoming, well-equipped and organized including weekly room setup of curriculum, chairs/tables, and ordering of any needed supplies
• Oversee the OP Campus City and Alley Volunteer Team and Supply budget
• Serve on the floor for all weekend services connecting and assisting volunteers and parents, overseeing implementation and execution of the centrally prepared Parkview Kids curriculum, serving as a point person for the City and Alley (excluding the service that is attended)
• Develop, connect and rally the City and Alley volunteer teams through weekly huddles given by you or your coaches
• Raise up a coach to be scheduled in the event of your absence on a weekend
• Lead or be point person for elementary special events including Kids’ Baptism Classes, Summer Jam, Alley After Hours and any other events
• Attend all-staff meetings, Kids staff meetings, and check-ins with the Campus Children’s Director
