Inventory Specialist Job Description

ParkMyFleet has an immediate need for a highly organized self-starter who is comfortable with taking to initiative to problem solve to join the corporate team in our rapidly growing company. Our ideal candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining accurate inventory records, and ensuring compliance with our client’s SLA. The ideal candidate will possess strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and a passion for maintaining precise inventory records. We are eager to find an Inventory Specialist who easily connects with people and has a detail-oriented, organization-focused mindset to handle the changing nature of our organization and the workforce.

This position is part-time with scheduling flexibility. Each shift will be eight hours. This position pays $21/hr with a shift bonus of $10 for each billable vehicle (minimum of five per shift to qualify for the bonus).

Responsibilities

• Identify client vehicles in a parking lot and match keys to QR codes
• Follow a mobile-app guided check-in process
• Take accurate photos of the vehicles as required in the workflow
• Follow a mobile-app-guided condition report process
• Reconcile discrepancies between client records and on-site findings
• Maintain key location logs
• Escalate mechanical issues identified during check-in or condition reporting
• Jump vehicle batteries when required to complete check-in and condition reports
• Order new keys and update key records as required

Qualifications

• Proven experience as an inventory specialist, administrator, or similar role
• Mechanical experience preferred

Requirements

• Must have reliable transportation
• Must have a valid Driver License
• Strong understanding of inventory management does not have to be specific to automotive
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
• Proficient in Microsoft Office
• Ability to take well-lit, accurate, and well-composed photographs using a mobile device.
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, and fluency in English
• Proactive decision making
• Knowledge of transportation/logistics terminology and norms preferred but not required

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $21.00 per hour

Expected hours: 8 – 28 per week
