Description
Position Summary:
The primary purpose of the Senior Accountant position with PMC is to work alongside the Controller and the VP of Finance to: reconcile various PMC account balances, analyze and reconcile bank statements, maintain PMCs general ledger, and prepare month end close procedures in accordance with company standards.
Essential Experience, Tasks, Duties, and Responsibilities :
  • 2 3 years minimum previous accounting or finance related experience
  • Strong Excel experience is a plus
  • Bachelors Degree in accounting or finance
  • Work 40-50 hours on site at Parking Management Company headquarters
  • Verify, allocate, post, and reconcile Accounts Payable
  • Monthly close and balance sheet reconciliation
  • Account Receivable collection
  • Excellent analytical skills and familiarity with accounting statements
  • Thorough knowledge of accounting principles to analyze financial reports and forecasts
  • Spot errors and suggest ways PMC may improve efficiency and spending
  • Provide input into departments goal setting process
  • Direct internal and external audits to ensure compliance
  • Assist with various projects (i.e. forecasting, budgets, audits, and ad-hoc reporting)
  • Use of personal cell phones may be required for work purposes
  • All other duties as assigned

Computer Skills:
Ability to use Windows and Office products, assigned company related technology products. Ability to learn and train associates on new technology as it is acquired.
