Parker Sons is Hiring a Fleet Coordinator Near Phoenix, AZ

Overview

Parker & Sons is currently seeking a Fleet Coordinator to join our team comprised of creative and energetic employees, who are dedicated to delivering the best customer service experience every day. Our Fleet Coordinator is responsible for coordinating and facilitating the movement of fleet vehicles to a variety of local destinations for a variety of reasons, such as drop-offs for Logos and/or emissions. They will coordinate maintenance needs with the mechanics to ensure fleet operations move forward with minimal delays. The Fleet Coordinator will also pick up various parts used for fleet maintenance when deliveries will not be viable for our timetables. They will assist with the upkeep of the fleet areas and stocking of fleet materials such as brake pads, brake rotors, transmissions, etc. The team member will assist with the cleanliness of the shop and assist with ensuring environmental compliance.

Responsibilities

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate and facilitate the delivery and pick-up of fleet vehicles to and from vendors, dealerships and on property.
  • With the help of the mechanics, identify and document the maintenance needs of fleet vehicles.
  • Pick up and drop off maintenance parts.
  • Assist mechanics with minor maintenance installations, such as camera mounts and harnesses.
  • Stock and clean the maintenance cage, designated shelving and the receiving area. Making sure individuals that ordered non- maintenance packages and products are notified to pick them up while keeping the area organized.
  • Operating a forklift for loading, off-loading of trucks, as well as engine and transmission swaps.
  • Other duties as required.

Qualifications

Required Skills & Experience:

  • HS Diploma/ GED
  • Valid Driver’s License
  • Clean MVR
  • Forklift experience a plus.
  • Ability to drive well.
  • Ability to withstand diverse working conditions.
  • Ability to perform intense, physical duties, such as getting in and out of vehicles constantly, bending, turning, crouching, walking with and without heavy items in hand.
  • Ability to handle prolonged sitting, walking, driving for the majority of the day.
  • Knowledge of vehicles a plus.
