Parker and Sons is currently seeking an Assistant District Manager to join our team comprised of creative and energetic employees, who are dedicated to delivering the best customer service experience every day.
The Retail Assistant District Manager in the retail program is one of the most essential to the success of the program. As an Assistant District Manager, you will partner with a District Manager and exercise your multi-unit leadership skills across a territory that spreads 8-15 retail locations. You will be responsible to lead, guide, develop and support your locations Business Development Representatives while maintaining strong relationships with your retail local leadership. You may be tasked with facilitating trainings and meetings with both your team as well as Home Depot store leadership and store teams to facilitate strong lead generation results.
As an Assistant District Manager, you will be required to partner with your District Manager and support teams in order to accomplish tasks. These support teams can range from administration teams, HR teams, install teams and sales teams when need be. You will at times be required to be in the office for sales meetings and/or trainings, however the majority of your time will be spent in the field with the field team. There may also be times where you are required to attend retail meetings which may require some travel.

What Will I do?
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
Maintain relationship with store leadership, staff and District Leadership. Navigate store level concerns when need be in partnership with your District Manager.
Walk around retail store with Business Development Representatives training and supporting their development and growth.
Attend and facilitate required monthly meetings and trainings with your staff, support teams and store leadership.
Promote and train on Retail BDR FOCUS 3 behaviors.
Must have excellent communication skills
Must have strong organizational skills and ability to use Microsoft Office platforms.
Must be able to onboard, train and develop staff using a combination of methods including monthly performance reviews, store visits and IDP’s.
Must be able to partner with leadership and support teams
Partner and lead communication between Business Development Representatives
Occasionally work stores to drive your own personal lead production
Be a resource to your teammates regarding pricing, policies and best practices.
Minimum Qualifications:
Multi-Unit management experience a plus
Minimum 2years formal management experience.
Must have reliable transportation to travel within assigned territory
Must be able to multi-task
Must be available to work weekends
Must be able to pass Drug Screen/Background
Retail Sales Experience a plus but not required
Must be able to work autonomously
This position will be in a fast-paced work place that will require a lot of standing, sitting, walking around a retail environment.
