Park Schools Montessori is Hiring an Art Teacher Near Atlanta, GA

Job Overview:

We are seeking a passionate and creative Art Teacher to join our team. As an Art Teacher, you will be responsible for providing engaging and comprehensive art education to students. You will have the opportunity to inspire young minds and foster their artistic talents.

Responsibilities:

- Develop and implement art lesson plans that align with curriculum standards

- Teach students various art techniques, including drawing, painting, sculpting, and mixed media

- Provide guidance and support to students in developing their artistic skills and creativity

- Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages student participation and collaboration

- Assess student artwork and provide constructive feedback to promote growth and improvement

- Organize and display student artwork for exhibitions or showcases

- Collaborate with other teachers to integrate art into cross-curricular activities

- Stay updated on current trends and developments in art education

Requirements:

- Excellent Art making experience

- Proven experience in teaching art to students of various age groups

- Knowledge of art history, techniques, and materials

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

- Ability to create a positive and supportive learning environment

- Proficiency in learning technology for art education purposes

- Experience in curriculum development is a plus

- Ability to manage student behavior effectively
