Resident Assistant

Duties:

- Provide direct support and assistance to residents in a residential care facility
- Assist with personal care tasks such as bathing, dressing, and grooming
- Clean and maintain residents' living areas and common spaces
- Prepare meals and assist with feeding if necessary
- Implement behavior management strategies to promote a safe and supportive environment
- Support residents in participating in social activities and community outings
- Assist with medication administration under the supervision of a licensed nurse
- Transport residents to activities as needed

Experience:

- Previous experience in direct support or home care is preferred
- Knowledge of social work principles and systems is beneficial
- Ability to effectively communicate and interact with individuals of varying abilities and backgrounds
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, PRN

Pay: From $14.00 per hour

Expected hours: 30 – 40 per week
