Job Overview:
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Resident Care Specialist to join our team. As a Resident Care Specialist, you will provide direct support and assistance to residents in a senior care facility. Your role will involve assisting with daily activities, medication administration, and providing memory care for residents with dementia. Responsibilities:
- Provide direct care and support to residents in accordance with their individual care plans
- Assist residents with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting
- Administer medications as prescribed by healthcare professionals
- Monitor and document residents' health status and report any changes to the nursing staff
- Assist with memory care activities for residents with dementia or memory impairments
- Engage residents in social activities and provide companionship
- Maintain a clean and safe environment for residents
- Assist with lifting and transferring residents as needed

Skills:
- Direct support experience in a senior care or assisted living facility is preferred
- Knowledge of medication administration procedures and protocols
- Familiarity with memory care techniques for individuals with dementia or memory impairments
- Strong caregiving skills and the ability to provide compassionate care to residents
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team
- Physical stamina to lift and assist residents as required
