Position Summary:
Performs a variety of clerical tasks involving direct patient contact, assisting assigned medical department in providing outstanding patient care and services.

We have 7 metro urgent care locations. Brooklyn Center, Burnsville, Chanhassen, Lakeville, Maple Grove, Plymouth, and St. Louis Park.
Clinic Hours of Operation: Monday-Friday 8:00am-8:00pm, Saturdays & Sundays 8:00am-5:00pm, Holiday's 8:00am-5:00pm.
Scope of Responsibility:
Intermediate Level. Applies job skills and established policies and procedures to perform a variety of moderately difficult tasks. Works independently on recurring assignments semi-routine in nature, applying basic judgment in selecting and applying appropriate established procedures or techniques. Performs variances from routine under specific instructions or guidance. Resolves non-complex problems.
Education/Experience: Graduate from an approved medical assisting or medical office assisting program or 3 or more years of equivalent work experience in a health care setting.
Special Knowledge/Skills/Certifications/Licenses: Medical experience preferred. Strong verbal communication, human relation, listening, telephone etiquette, and handwriting skills required. Knowledge of medical terminology preferred. Possesses ability to promote and maintain good patient relations and patient confidentiality. Basic computer/keyboarding skills required.
Machines/Equipment/Software Utilized: Possesses ability to proficiently operate the following pieces of equipment: telephone, personal computer utilizing word processing software, and photocopier, fax machine.
