Job Summary
We are seeking a compassionate Veterinarian to join the team at our successful clinic. You will primarily diagnose and treat dogs and cats; however, we also provide care for smaller furry animals. Daily responsibilities will include performing surgeries, treating wounds, prescribing medications, and spaying/neutering. If you are passionate about providing exceptional animal care, we’d like to meet you.
Responsibilities
  • Diagnose, treat and manage a variety of small animal cases
  • Perform small animal dental, spay and neuter procedures
  • Administer vaccinations.
  • Administer vaccinations
  • Prescribe medication
  • Collaborate with mobile surgical and internal medicine specialists
  • Advise pet owners on preventative healthcare, nutrition, and overall pet well-being
  • Update client records
Qualifications
  • Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree
  • Previous work experience as a veterinarian. We also will consider new graduates and grow your hands-on skills with mentorship support.
  • Knowledge of medical equipment and anesthesia procedures
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain complex medical concepts in simple terms
  • Problem-solving skills
  • USDA accreditation for interstate and international health certificates
  • Patience and a love for animals
