Job Summary:
Our employees are a vital part of our organization and our ability to build successful apartment communities and commercial real estate ventures. We are looking for a Pool Attendant to join our team
Under the supervision of the Property Manager, the Pool Attendant will perform day-to-day tasks required to safely operate the community pool for our residents.
Essential Duties:
· Open and close pool area daily
· Understand and enforce pool rules with residents and guests
· Ensure resident identification is verified and complete attendance logs
· Test pool chemical levels regularly; complete pool chemical logs
· Maintain pool: vacuum, skim, empty pool strainers
· Inspect and maintain pool area throughout shift; check required rescue equipment and self-closing gates, doors, and locks, straighten and clean pool furniture and empty receptacles in pool area as needed
· Communicate and work closely with Community Manager and Maintenance Staff to ensure safe operation of the pool area at all times and excellence in presentation of pool area
· Use judgement and discretion to close the pool in the event of weather or other events
· Interact professionally and positively with residents and guests
Required Education & Experience: High School Diploma or equivalent required. Current CPR and First Aid certification within one year required. Previous customer service, pool attendant or lifeguard experience/certification a plus.

· Employee is regularly required to stand, walk, stop, kneel, crouch or crawl and talk or hear.
· Employee is required to use Reaching Pole and Buoy Ring on a throwing rope.
· Must be able to occasionally move/lift 10-20 pounds.
· Specific vision abilities for this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
· Employee is regularly exposed to outside weather conditions and occasionally to moving mechanical parts, fumes and toxic or caustic chemicals.
