General Summary:
This position provides friendly and accurate service to clients while also uncovering needs and referring products. Client transactions are processed with particular attention paid to managing and balancing cash drawers. Compliance with all safety and compliance regulations and policies is essential. Adhere to and uphold all written bank policies and procedures, including BSA/CIP and OFAC monitoring and reporting, security operation and personnel policies.
Primary Duties/Responsibilities:
- Provides account services to customers by receiving deposits and loan payments; cashing checks; recording night and mail deposits; selling negotiable items to include cashier's checks, money orders, and traveler's checks. Answers questions in person or on telephone; referring to other bank services.
- Complies with bank operations and security procedures by participating in all dual-control functions; maintaining customer confidentiality; assisting in the auditing of other tellers' currency and scanned proof work.
- Completes special requests by closing accounts, processing check orders, exchanging foreign currency, and completing safe-deposit box access procedures.
- Works actively with clients to identify current and future financial needs, and effectively offer solutions either directly or indirectly through business partner referrals.
Requirements
Qualifications:
- Availability M-F from 7:45 am -5:30 pm and Saturdays 7:45 am -12:15 pm
- Prior Customer Service experience
- Prior Cash Handling experience
