Paris Gourmet is an importer and distributor of gourmet food and pastry ingredients located in New
Jersey's Meadowlands. We provide gourmet foods and pastry ingredients to hotels, restaurants, manufacturers, casinos, and bakeries. A dynamic and quickly growing company, Paris Gourmet was founded in 1983 and is a well respected distributor for many of the great restaurants in the U.S. Our team of five chefs are leaders in the industry and provide technical expertise, leads through their extensive network, and sales support. We offer approximately 1,000 products including cutting-edge ingredients brought to the U.S. market for the first time.
We are expanding our outside sales team in the New York City area, including NYC, NJ, and NY state. Our Account Executives develop new accounts, manage existing accounts, and provide support to customers. Account Executives spend their time actively visiting accounts and developing business with them. The sales team works closely with our team of chefs to grow business. This is a salaried position with benefits including bonuses, expenses, and full benefits including health insurance and 401K with employer contribution.
Minimum qualifications:

• culinary expertise, restaurant industry, or food sales experience
• strong communication skills, self-motivated, a positive attitude, and passion for the food industry

• restaurant industry and food sales experience
• experience in food sales in the New York City area
