Key responsibilities:
Designer 1
- Convert cartoon sets to construction drawings
- File documents for projects
- Site surveys
- Draft work for projects
- Assist in putting together presentations
- Work to a budget and timeline
Designer 2
- Responsibilities of Designer 1 in addition to:
- Work with existing conditions on projects
- Process RFI submittals
- Review building codes
- Complete a set of drawings to a minimum of 50%
Designer 3
- Responsibilities of Designer 1 & 2 in addition to:
- Basic space planning
- Complete a set of drawings to a minimum of 75%
Knowledge, skills, and experience:
- A Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Bachelor of Arts in Architecture, Bachelor of Arts in Interior Design or a Master’s degree in Architecture
- Knowledge of and ability to navigate Microsoft office products
- Familiarity with Revit and AutoCAD (Designer 2 & 3 – strong Revit/AutoCAD skills are required)
- Excellent time management and organizational skills
- The ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- Knowledge of building codes (Designer 3 position only)
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
- Able to get to and from sites reliably
