Key responsibilities:

• Use computer-aided drafting software (AutoCAD) and building information management software (Revit) to create full-scale and detailed designs of buildings and interiors.

• Draw plans for foundations, buildings, and structures based on instruction provided by lead architect.

• Visit job sites to gather data needed to complete designs.

• Work with lead architect to generate cost estimates, contracts, and other documents required for individual projects.

• File documents for projects. 

• Draft work for projects. 

• Work to a budget and timeline. 

• Develop skills and take guidance. 

• Perform other duties as assigned. 

Knowledge, skills, and experience:  

• Associates degree in Drafting or a similar field is preferred 

• 1.5 years of related experience is required 

• 1.5 years’ experience with Revit & AutoCAD software required 

• Knowledge of and ability to navigate Microsoft office products 

• Excellent time management and organizational skills 

• The ability to work independently as well as part of a team 

• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills 

• Able to get to and from sites reliably
