WAREHOUSE ASSOCIATE / FORKLIFT OPERATOR
PROMAN Staffing has partnered with a premier distributor and fabricator of plastic sheet, rod, and tube across the Midwest delivering solutions to their valued customers.
They offer the highest level of custom fabrication and application solution services. We are now hiring Forklift Operator / Warehouse Associate for 1st shift who are team players, versatile, and dependable.
This position will also be responsible for operation of a computerized machine and drill press. Candidate must be willing to learn.
Pay Rate : $19-$20 / hourly, BOEWork Shift : Monday - Friday, 7 : 00am-4 : 00pmJob Location : Hazelwood, MOEssential Functions :
- Using numerous transfer methods for the shipping and receiving of product including but not limited to : forklift, hand truck, and / or other transport-designed methods including physical labor
- Identifying information via count, weight, or measurement for verification of bills of lading, packing slips, invoices, and / or other records
- Moving, storing, tacking, and locating inventory materials
- Identifying and selecting stock via written description, bar codes, tape measure and / or calipers
- Securing shipments and confirm correct documentation and labeling of shipments
- Maintaining a clean work environment following all safety procedures and regulations, including the assembly / disassembly of racks, transport skids, and other like duties
- Use PC, barcode scanners, calipers, tape measures, skid
- operate a forklift
Qualifications :
- Requires a high school education or its equivalent
- Previous warehouse experience including operating a forklift and machine
