Care Manager
Our community is looking for a compassionate individual to help enrich the lives of our residents and employees, making every day vibrant with beautiful smiles and tender care.
We are searching for a Care Manager with the following qualities and skills:
Three (3) years marketing experience, preferably in the healthcare industry.
Must have, as a minimum, two (2) years’ experience in a supervisory capacity in a hospital or nursing Facility.
Must possess the ability to communicate effectively, orally, and in writing.
Strong working knowledge needed of all Medicare, Medicaid, and Managed Care regulations/guidelines pertaining to Long Term Care
Knowledge of Long-Term Care PPS in order to identify preliminary RUG categories for potential admissions
Ability to cost-out medications for potential admissions in order to plan/budget accordingly
Must be thoroughly familiar with the laws, regulations, and guidelines governing the release of information.
Plan, develop, organize, implement, evaluate, and direct the Facility’s public relations and marketing programs and activities in order to maintain and increase our census and to provide the community with information relative to the Facility, its programs, services, and practices.
Assist in standardizing the methods in which marketing and public relations programs and activities will be developed and implemented.
Represent the Facility at and participate in top-level meetings.
Maintain an adequate liaison with families, residents, and community and civic leaders.
The primary purpose of your position is to develop, coordinate, direct and administer the Facility’s marketing and public relations programs and services.
