River's Edge Rehab & Healthcare Center is looking for a Full-time Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant to join our team.

Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA)PURPOSE: The purpose of the Occupational Therapy Assistant position is to treat and document care for resident with impaired ability to perform at an independent level due to disease process under the supervision of an occupational therapist, participate in the interdisciplinary team meetings as required.
DUTIES:

• Following physicians' orders for resident care and follow directions of the Occupational Therapist
• Provide appropriate treatment, preventative measures and adaptive equipment to prevent decline in resident's functions
• Maintain timely and accurate resident reports as required by federal, state and local regulatory agencies and third-party payers
• Observe infection control procedures
• Be responsible for the safety of residents under his/her supervision
• Consistently work cooperatively with residents, residents’ representatives, facility staff, physicians, consultants and ancillary service providers
• Follow facility Resident' Rights' policies
• Remain positive and caring and act in the best interests of our residents
• Perform all duties assigned in an effective, timely and professional manner

Perform other duties as directed by his/her Supervisor
