Paramount Care Centers is Hiring an ACTIVITIES AIDE Near East Orange, NJ
We are seeking an experienced Activities Aide. Candidate should be computer literateand have the knowledge to create programs of entertainment and activities that are enjoyable for our residents.
DUTIES & REPONSIBILITIES:
·Assist in educational and recreational activities of the residents
·Plan and coordinate outings to areas of interest like, theaters, art galleries, shopping malls, religious and cultural programs
·Assist in planning a monthly calendar of events for residents
·Accompany residents on special trips planned by the department
·Prepare seasonal decorations as well as decorate for theme events.
·Perform other duties assigned by the Director of Activities
Qualifications:
·Minimum oftwo (2) years experience in developing social activities programs for senior citizens
·Good organization skills
·Should have excellent computer skills on arts and crafts
