Assistant Property Manager

Responsibilities

• On-call 24x7 for to respond via telephone or at assigned buildings for emergencies.
• The individual will work with District Property Manager to report and manage all tenant issues and to maintain high tenant satisfaction.
• Monitor daily activity of the buildings, walk exterior and interior of assigned buildings to assure cleanliness, safety and comfort in common areas and tenant spaces. Take immediate corrective and appropriate action during and after operational hours for consistent, smooth operation.
• Inspects completed maintenance work as work orders are completed.
• Ability to oversee multiple projects simultaneously, detail oriented.
• Contract oversight including janitorial cleaning performance, elevators, boilers, HVAC, etc.
• Assist professionals coming to the building, such as code inspectors, vendors making deliveries, contractors performing work, and maintenance technicians.
• Responsible for day to day operation of security systems including consistent review and maintenance of footage related to any and all incidents.
• Perform general custodial tasks regularly to maintain the cleanliness, appearance and smooth operation of the building and grounds.

Qualifications:

• Demonstrated computer literacy
• Strong ability to communicate professionally with a hospitable and positive attitude.
• Ability to work independently without direct supervision.
• Execute good judgement and exceptional customer service while following standard operating procedures
• Supervise and collaborate effectively
• Efficiently prioritize both routine and urgent responsibilities

Physical Requirements:

• Required to see, stand, walk, sit, bend, stoop, kneel, crouch, talk and hear regularly to successfully perform all duties.
• Physical dexterity to reach, push, lift and carry heavy containers (up to 40 pounds) during a work shift.
• Physical dexterity for janitorial and maintenance duties such as set up tables, stack chairs, change light bulbs, utilize manual and power tools, custodial equipment, climb ladders and stairs, carry trash and shovel snow in various weather conditions.
• Tolerate exposure to fumes, airborne particles, outdoor allergens and cleaning chemicals.
• Tolerate exposure to differing temperatures internally and externally.
• Ability to read, write and communicate fluently in English.
• Dexterity to perform tasks on a computer, laptop, iPad or other electronic device regularly.
• Visual acuity sufficient to read keypads, labels, e-mails and documents.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $50,000.00 - $55,000.00 per year
