Job Title: Armed Security Officer
Schedule: SATURDAY-WEDNESDAY, 12:00PM-8:00PM
Location: Bank location, Greater Minneapolis
Requirements:
- Must have a valid MN permit to carry card.
- Must have a valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
- You are required to supply your own duty belt in compliance with company standards. (More information can be provided during interview process.)

Job Summary: Paradox Security is looking for a competent Armed Security Officer to undertake the surveillance of our client's properties and protection of their staff and visitors. You will be responsible for detecting any suspicious behavior and preventing vandalism, thefts or other criminal behavior. A security officer must be well-trained in surveillance and dealing with perpetrators. The ideal candidate will inspire respect and authority as well as possess a high level of observation. The goal is to help the company in maintaining excellent working conditions by keeping our client's facilities safe and problem free.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct routine patrols of assigned properties to detect and deter criminal activity
- Observe and report any suspicious activities, incidents or safety hazards to the appropriate authorities
- Respond to emergency situations and provide assistance to personnel as needed
- Monitor and control access to the property, ensuring only authorized personnel are allowed entry
- Maintain accurate records of incidents and observations
- Provide customer service to clients and assist with their requests as needed
- Maintain a professional demeanor and communicate effectively with clients, personnel and law enforcement
- Adhere to all company policies and procedures, as well as state and federal regulations
Further Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- At least 2 years of experience in security, law enforcement or a related field
- Ability to stand for long periods of time and perform physically demanding tasks as required
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays
- Must be able to pass a background check and drug screening
- Must be able to obtain and maintain any state required certifications or licenses
