Paradigm Information Services is Hiring a Construction Project Manager (Mechanical) Near San Diego, CA
- Manage mechanical construction projects ranging from $1-5 million.
- Attend weekly job site visits in San Diego County.
- Create detailed budget structures including per cost code.
- Select and coordinate work of subcontractors working on various phases of the project.
- Manage construction schedules and costs in a timely and cost effective manner.
- Identify areas for improvement and coach in coordination with the team, including annual performance evaluation of direct reports.
- Maintain tracking and forecasting gross margins including producing RFI's and associated costs.
- Prepare, estimate and submit change orders on time.
- Support the development of strategies and risk management assessments.
- Oversee the execution of trade contractors and analyze drawings including planning of materials, labor and deadlines.
Requirements
- Experience managing $1-$5M mechanical construction projects.
- Must be able to pass a background check for DBID clearance process.
- 3 years experience in MEP, Project Management in Construction, and managing direct reports/subcontractors is preferred.
- Bachelor’s Degree; or craft / trade school
- Experience with the following: Microsoft Office Suite, Procore, BlueBeam, and Timberline
